Funeral services for Ada Courtney Lane, 88, of Beaumont will be held Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. in the Christian Fellowship Church in Beaumont. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday prior to the service. Interment will be a 2:30 p.m. in the Lum Gardens Cemetery in Macedonia, Texas.

Mrs. Lane was born July 7, 1926 in Macedonia, Texas to the late William Maurice and Florence (Lum) Charles and passed away at her residence on Nov. 8, 2014. A longtime resident of Beaumont, she owned and operated Ada’s Custom Draperies for many years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Ralph S. Courtney and John C. Lane.

She is survived by 2 sons, Larry Courtney and wife, Pam and Ronald Courtney of Beaumont; daughter-in-law, Lynda Courtney; step-children, Jerry Lane, and wife, Lourdes, Jan Tessenyi and husband, Kornel, John M. Lane and wife, Wanda and their families; 14 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
