Agnes Elby Soileau

Funeral services for Elby Soileau, 86, of China, will be held on Wednesday, March 19, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. in the Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in the China Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday between 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.

Mrs. Soileau was born February 16, 1922, in Church Point, LA to Joseph and Elise Quibodeaux and passed away in Beaumont, TX on March 16, 2008. She loved cooking for her family and watching TV.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Soileau, parents, three sisters, and one brother. Those left to cherish her memory are daughter, Anna Payne and husband Arthur of Silsbee, son, Stanford Soileau and wife Linell of China, daughter, Betty Cline and husband, Jonnye of Hankamer and son, Daniel Soileau and wife Alicia of Nome; eighteen grandchildren; thirty-two great-grandchildren; brother, Ivy Quibodeaux and wife, Louise of Lake Charles, sisters-in-law, Lavenia Quibodeaux of Lake Charles, Priscilla Sis Alameda of China and Lolly Dorries of Beaumont and many friends and family.
