Albert Padilla, 72, of Shawnee, OK, died March 10, 2017 Christus-St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.

Cremation will be handled by Claybar Funeral Home with services at a later date.

Albert was born June 22, 1944 in Shawnee, OK to Jessie and Andrea Padilla. Following graduation from high school, he entered the Army where he served as an infantryman. Upon returning to his home in Shawnee, he was employed by Pratts Foods as a butcher. He loved anything outdoors, especially yard work and fishing. Albert had a large family whom he loved very much.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Lois Martinez; daughter, Kelly Dahms; son, Albert “Bud” Padilla.

He is survived by three daughters and their husbands, Stacy Root and John, of Brookland, Texas, Shawna Walker and Todd, of Shawnee, OK, Amber Padillia and John of Shawnee, OK; and 33 grand and great-grandchildren.
