Alejo Izaguirre Saavedra

Alejo Izaguirre Saavedra, 95, of Beaumont, passed away on March 8, 2021, at St. Elizabeth Hospital.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 19, 2021, at Saint Louis Catholic Community, in Winnie. Officiating will be Father D. Stephen McCrate. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m. Thursday, March 18, 2021 at Saint Louis Catholic Community, with a Rosary recited by Sister Yolanda Padron Serrano at 7:30pm.

Born in Tortugas, Rayon, San Luis Potosí, Mexico, on July 17, 1925, he was the son of Ramon Izaguirre and Porfiria Saavedra. Alejo, served his community as a commissioner and a person of trust in his hometown. He was a great man and will be missed by all who had the pleasure to know and love him.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Bartola Delgado De Izaguirre; and son, Ramon Izaguirre.

He is survived by his children, Martha Izaguirre De Gonzalez and family, Pilar Izaguirre De Romero and family, Graciela Izaguirre De Padron and family, Pompella Izaguirre De Mendez and family, Angelina Izaguirre De Delgado and family, San Juana Izaguirre De Hernandez and family, Elisa Izaguirre De Zepeda and family, family of Ramon Izaguirre, Beatriz Izaguirre De Rojas and family; 31 grandchildren; and 49 great grandchildren.
