Alice Marie Corson

Alice Marie Corson, 78, of Orange, died Monday, June 23, 2008 at Harbor Hospital in Orange.

A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 27, 2008 at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Officiating will be Reverend Joseph P. Daleo. Entombment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 26, 2008 at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.

A rosary will be recited beginning at 6:00 p.m.

Alice was born on May 3, 1930, in Mt. Vernon, New York. She was the daughter of Kenneth and Marie Burns Bald. She worked several years in retail for Weiners, where she retired as a payroll clerk. Throughout her life she enjoyed the outdoors, taking in such activities as water and snow skiing golf, and collected anything that dealt with butterflies.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and infant son, Kenneth P. Stone, her adult son, James W. Stone and three brothers, Clifford, Walter, and Eugene Bald.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Charlie Corson of Orange; daughter, Sharon M. Stone of Orange; son, Bruce W. Stone and wife Priscilla of Houston; two step-daughters, Angela Marie Bernacki and husband Michael of Stratford, Ct., Susan Margaret Aronin and husband Michael of Westville, New Jersey; a step-son, John Corson of Maryland; a brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth Bald and wife Kaye Dowd Bald of New Jersey; and seven grandchildren.
