Anabel DeMary Anderson, 90, of Orange passed away Monday, March 26, 2012.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 30, 2012, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Orange with Reverend Joseph P. Daleo officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery in Orange. Friends are invited to the St. Mary Parish Hall for a meal following the graveside service.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.

Born in Abbeville, Louisiana on August 23, 1921, Anabel was the daughter of Felix and Edna A. Villemez DeMary. She was a member of the Altar Society, Catholic Daughters, and the Red Hat Ladies. Anabel loved and enjoyed spending time with her family.

Preceded in death by her husband, Arthur B. Anderson, Anabel is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Arthur, Jr. and Pat Anderson, Felix and Karen Anderson, Richard and Janet Anderson; daughters and sons-in-law, Mary E. Anderson, Sherry and Mike Duhon, Geri and Bruce Taylor, Bobbie and Lee Ford and Tina and Rod Norman. She is also survived by her sixteen grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; and one great great-grandchild.

Serving as pallbearers will be Robert Anderson, Wayne Anderson, Bryan Anderson, Chris Anderson, Derek Anderson, Jeff Anderson, Michael Anderson, Dustin Duhon, Hunter Taylor, Kelly Ford, Brandon Keszeg and Corey Norman. Honorary Pallbearers will be Katy Vincent, Jennifer Abshire, Hayley Duhon and Victoria Lanting.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Mary School Foundation, 2600 Bob Hall Road, Orange, Texas 77630.

There is so much to share about this fine, gracious lady. I remember her precious hellos and beautiful smiles when I walked home from Anderson School as a child.
