Andrew Jackson McDaniel, Jr.

Funeral services for Andrew Jackson McDaniel, Jr., 78 of Beaumont, will be held on Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. in the Apostolic Church with interment to follow at Haven of Rest Cemetery. A gathering of friends and family will be held at the church on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until the service time of 1:00 p.m.

Mr. McDaniel was born February 6, 2009 in Oklahoma City, OK to Andrew and Margaret McDaniel and passed away in Beaumont on July 26, 2009. One of Mr. McDaniel's accomplishments was going back to school at age 70 to earn his GED.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Joe McDaniel. Those left to cherish his memory are wife, Bonnie Jean McDaniel; sons, Forrest McDaniel and wife, Tina, of Beaumont, Tim McDaniel and wife, Cassie, of Houston, Steven McDaniel and wife, Gaye, of Alvin, and daughter, Sharon Long of Austin; ten grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and sister, Joyce Galyan and husband, Troy, of Kingsland, TX
