Anne L. Segura
Anne L. Segura, a long time resident of Bridge City, Texas, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, February 22, 2009, at 8:22 a.m.
She was known and loved for her work with the Bridge City Lions Club and for being the owner and operator of the Bridge City Cleaners, where you were always greeted with a smile and a kiss.
Annie Laura was born on December 26, 1926 in Scrappin' Valley, Texas to Thomas Dillard McElroy and Mary Etter Dees McElroy. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 51 years, A. A. "Jimmy" Segura; brother, Austin McElroy, sister, Frankie McElroy, and sister Mae Farrell. She is survived by her sister Pauline Trahan of DeRidder, Louisiana; brother Hoy Joe Clark of Hemphill; sons, James and wife Georgia of Pasadena, Texas; Darrell and wife Sharon of Bridge City and Tommy and wife Beckie, of Omaha, Nebraska.
Anne has six grandchildren, Staci Blair, Christi Lockett, Misty Segura, Mark Segura, Aaron Segura and Jonathan Segura; two great-grandchildren, Montana Blair and Allison Lockett; and her beloved pet, Precious.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the evening, on Tuesday, February 24, 2009, at First Baptist Church, 200 W. Roundbunch Road, Bridge City, Texas. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 25, 2009, at First Baptist Church of Bridge City. Officiating will be Brother Bob Boone, pastor of First Baptist Church of Bridge City. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers: Jonathan Segura, Aaron Segura, Mark Segura, Wayne Blair, Tommy Lockett, and Fred Crnkovic.

Anne loved the Lord Jesus, her family, church and friends. She will be missed by all.
