Mr. Anthony Gene Wheat, 78, of Beaumont, Texas passed away May 15, 2017 at Harbor Hospice.

He is survived by his children, Jerry Marshall Wheat, Anthony Gene Wheat, Jr., Travis Dion Wheat and Steven Lamar Wheat; grandchildren, Denise Delphine Wheat, Sarah Lucia Wheat, Jeremy Marshall Wheat, Jarrett Dale Wheat, Adriana Nicole Auch, Christopher Gene Wheat and Daniel Wheat; 7 great-grandchildren,; and brothers, Marshall Lamar Wheat,Steve Wheat and Roger Paul Wheat.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, May 20, 1017 at 2 p.m. at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. A gathering of family and friends will precede the service from 10 a.m. - 12 noon at Claybar Funeral Home in Beaumont.

Military Honors will be held at the service honoring Mr. Wheat's military service.
