Antonia Costilla, 85, of Beaumont, passed away on March 31, 2018, at her home.

A funeral mass will be held at 11:00a.m., Thursday, April 5, 2018, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Beaumont. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont.

Visitation will be from 5:00p.m.-8:00p.m., with a rosary recited at 6:30pm, on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home in Beaumont.

Born on June 13, 1932, she was a life-long resident of Beaumont, Texas. She was the daughter of Antonio Saldana and Louisa (Flores) Saldana and was the oldest of nine brothers and sisters. She was employed as a Cafeteria Manager for BISD and retired with more than 20 years of service. She had a passion for her church, her family, and cooking. Her favorite pastime was going to garage sales and thrift stores. Her home was always filled with love, and the laughter of children.

She is preceded in death by her husband, the father of her children; Pete Rodriguez; her husband, Ramon Costilla, Sr.; grandson, James Terry Rodriguez; and great-granddaughter, Samarah Yawn.

Antonia is survived by her children, Robert Rodriguez and his wife, Angie; Rebecca Garcia and her husband, Julian; Rodney Rodriguez; Rose Owens; Ray Rodriguez and his wife, Vickie; her step-children, Raymond Costilla, Jr., Pamela Costilla, Belinda Garza, Crystal Colicher, and Felicia Rutledge; and 20 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Serving as pallbearers will be her grandsons, Joseph Pete Rodriguez, Julian Garcia, Jr., Jeremy Garcia, Anthony Rodriguez, Travis Owens, Tyler Owens, Jacob Rodriguez and Evan Rutledge.
