Arthur F. Fore, 93, of New Braunfels, TX, passed away on March 23, 2011. Mr. Fore was born in Beaumont on December 15, 1917 to Lewis P. and Mattie Fox Fore. He served his country in WWII as an Air Force Captain and retired as a Supervisor in Traffic Engineering from the Texas Highway Department. He spent the last 10 years in New Braunfels, enjoying the Hill Country and wild life.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 26 at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home with interment following at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont. A gathering of friends and family will begin from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm on Friday at the funeral home.
Mr. Fore is survived by his wife of 69 years, Anna Marvine; son, Arthur Chip; daughter, Bonnie Campbell and husband, Dale; 3 grandchildren; 2 great-granddaughters; his sister, Betty Lou Hardy; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, and 3 sisters.
