Arthur Lindy Martin, 50, died November 4, 2008, in Orange, TX. Funeral services will be Friday, November 7, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the Claybar Funeral Home's temporary location at 1408 W Park in Orange with Pastor David Berkheimer of the Community Church of Orange officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens near

Bridge City.

Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday, November 6, 2008 from 5 until 8 p.m.

Lindy was born on November 9, 1957, in Orange, to Arthur L. Martin and Georgia Hester Martin. He was a life long resident of Orange and worked as a mechanic for Coastal Marine. He loved working in his yard and enjoyed building things. He is preceded in death by his father, Arthur L Martin and survived by his wife, Tammy Martin and his daughter, Shelby Martin and his step children Ashley and Sterling Turner. He is also survived by his mother, Georgia Martin and three sisters, Patricia Hastings and her husband, Dave; Judy Hoelter and her husband, Dean; Ann Dominguez and her husband, Danny; one brother, Allen Martin and his wife Haley and many nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Casey Granger, David Hastings, Jr., Chris Hoelter, Damon Dominguez, Allen Martin and Bobby Hudson. Honorary pallbearer will be Marlin Ellis.
