Arthur W. Snake Doodle Turner, Jr.

Arthur W. "Snake" "Doodle" Turner, Jr., 61, of Orange, passed away at Baptist Hospital in Beaumont.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 30, 2010, at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange with Pastor Randall "Flipper" Doolittle officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens near Bridge City.

Visitation will be from 5:00-9:00 p.m. Friday, at the funeral home.

Born in Orange, Texas on November 28, 1948, Arthur was the son of Arthur Warren Turner, Sr. and Emma Burrill Turner. He was a member of the Gypsy Motorcycle Club Beaumont Chapter whose members will miss "Snake" dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and uncle, Tony Burrill.

Arthur is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Emma and Ron Dixon of Orange; three nieces, Jennifer Sisco and her husband, Greg of Newberg, Oregon, Melissa Norris and her husband, Benny of Port Neches and Britaney Dixon of Orange; two nephews, Tim Dixon and his wife, Linda of Corpus Christi and Darrell Dixon of Longville, Louisiana; special friend, Pauline Adams; and numerous cousins, great nieces and nephews.
