Funeral services for Audrey Bonnette, 84, of Beaumont, will be held Wednesday, July 15, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. in the Claybar Kelley-Watkins Chapel, officiated by Chaplain Mike Neel. Interment will follow in the Big Island Baptist Cemetery in Deville, LA at 4:00 p.m. A gathering of friends and family will be held on Tuesday, July 14th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
Mrs. Bonnette was born September 13, 1924 to William and Regina Beaubouef in Deville, LA and passed on July 12, 2009 in Beaumont, TX. She loved gardening and caring for her yard, which was the envy of the neighborhood.
Those left to cherish her memory are children, Eddie Bonnette and wife, Joy of Jasper, Clifford Bonnette and wife, Lonnett, of Beaumont, Morris Bonnette, of Vidor, and Dianne Judalet and husband, Billy, of Woodville; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sisters, Gertrude Smith and Beatrice Cole; and brothers, Byron Beaubouef and Hardy Beaubouef. She was preceded in death by husband, Emeric Bonnette, son, Charles Kevin Bonnette, and her parents.
