Ava Jeanne Crumpler

Ava Jeanne Crumpler, 77, of Bridge City, died Saturday, July 8, 2007, at St. Mary Hospital in Port Arthur.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, July 12, 2007, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Brother Bob Arnold of First Church of God in Port Arthur.

Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, at Claybar Funeral Home.

Ava Jeanne was born on March 31, 1930, in Nacogdoches. She was the daughter of John C. and Dorothy Lee White Trotti. Mrs. Crumpler was a loving homemaker and a member of the First Church of God in Port Arthur.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Dorothy Faircloth; brothers, Artis Webster and Wesley Trotti; and sister, Glenda Sue Giddens.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, James O. Crumpler of Bridge City; daughters and sons-in-law, Sherilyn Brister and Roger, Ann Marie Martin and Larry both of Orange, and Jana Fisette and Mike of Bridge City; sons and daughters-in-law, James M. Crumpler and Stacy and Stephen D. Crumpler and Cindy both of Bridge City;

She is also survived by her son-in-law, Steven Faircloth of Bridge City; 17 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Angela Williams, a special friend and care giver.

Serving as pallbearers are Roger Brister, Steven Faircloth, Todd Patterson, Steve Crumpler, Mike Fisette, Jeff Fisette, Ryan Fisette, Kent Broussard, and Larry Martin.
