Barbara Stevens

Barbara ?Jo? Stevens of Orange, died, Monday at Select Specialty Hospital in Houston, TX. The youngest of six children, she was born in Henderson, TX., June 27, 1947. She lived most of her life in Buna, TX., before moving to Orange 20 years ago.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 23, 2007 at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Reverend Randall R. Branch. Interment will be at Orange Forest Lawn Cemetery in Orange.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00p.m. Wednesday, August 22, 2007 at the Funeral Home.

Jo was preceded in death by her parents Aubrey & Helen Simpson Smith of Buna, TX., and grandchild Cody Alan Stevens.

Such a beautiful person will be missed by all who knew her. The things she treasured the most were her grandchildren from both sides of our family. She loved to go square dancing, traveling, cross-stitching for others, helping the elderly and this past year enjoyed a new hobby, making bows and gift boxes for any occasion.

Jo is survived by her husband E.O. ?Buddy? Stevens III of Orange, sons Kenneth & Shirley Bond of Kirbyville, Steven and Lacey Bond of Buna, step children Jason & Maria Stevens of Lake Charles, Jody Stevens also of Lake Charles, LA., Julie and Darrell Dixon of Ragley, LA. and 9 grandchildren; Kenny Bond Jr., Kimberly Bond, Kaitlyn Bond, Aubrey Bond, Taylor Dixon, Caleb Stevens, Carley Stevens, Sarah Pietrowski and Hanah Pietrowski, sisters Betty Hogg of Orange, Judy Wyble of Buna, Ann Reed of Buna, Mary Ellen Vaughn and brother, James Smith of Orange and numerous nieces and nephews.
