I have very fond memories of Barbara Jean from my childhood. Her daughter, Evelyn, and I had many tea parties in my Mom's backyard in Shreveport. It's hard to tell a loved one good bye but always remember that it is only a temporary separation. Please know that my prayers are with you. May God comfort you and bring you peace in the coming days. Mary Gay

Debbie, I am so sorry to hear of your Mom. She was always such a gracious hostess, back in the day, to a group of Campfire girls on so may occassions. We hang onto our memories with laughter and tears to help get us through our losses. Love and prayers for you and your family.

Debbie, Evelyn & Family - I am saddened to hear of your Mom's passing. Growing up I thought she was the most beautiful, classiest lady. So very many good memories come to mind of all of us growing up. I know the pain you are feeling and can only hope that wonderful memories help you through it. Moma and Catherine were waiting with open arms to welcome Barbara to Heaven and boy are they having a blast, and or cocktails already! You all are in my thoughts and prayers.Anita Lindsey Lake
