Beatrice E. Carter

Graveside services for Beatrice E. Carter will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 1, 2011 in the Haven of Rest Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday evening from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Carter was born on December 1, 1918 in Gueydan, Louisiana and passed away September 28, 2011 in Kountze, Texas. A resident of Village Mills for 15 years, she was a former resident of Kirbyville.

She is survived by 3 sons, John R. Carter, Jr., Frederick D. Carter and Michael P. Carter; grandchildren, Bruce Carter, Patrice Myers, Jacqueline Gavett, Kevin Carter, Crystal Carter, Michile Gyllstrom, Debbie Carter, Patty Carter, Tracy Carter; and 17 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John R. Carter, Sr.; brothers, Duffy Spell, Jr., Wilfred W. Spell; sisters, Mae Kane and Margie Dixon.
