Bernadette Dennin

Bernadette Dennin, 60, died in Orange on December 4, 2008. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, December 12, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Orange. Reverend Tom Phelan of St. Francis will officiate. Friends will be received by the family beginning at 9:15 a.m. at the church prior to the service. Cremation arrangements are being handled by Claybar Funeral Home Haven of Rest Crematory.

Mrs. Dennin was born on May 16, 1948, to Joseph Eddie and Jewel Kathleen Trammel Johnson. She was a R.N. and worked for Southeast Texas Hospice. She was also a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Bernadette was always the care giver and did it very well. She was devoted to her family and enjoyed being involved in their interests and activities.

Bernadette was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joel Dennin and her brother, Joseph Eddie Johnson, II. She is survived by her daughters; April and Rickey Kagle and Krystal and Shandell LeBeouf, all of Orange; four grandchildren, Zackery and BriAnna Kagle and Cheylyn and Tayber LeBeouf; brothers and sisters, Carmen and James McGill, David and Lynda Johnson, Cynthia Bates and Gary Reeh and sister-in-law, Kendall Johnson as well as nephews and nieces; Adam and Jennifer Johnson, Lee Johnson, Jamie and Chris Hofford, and Terry Mike and Michelle Dennin.

Honorary pallbearers will be Rickey Kagle, Shandell LeBeouf, Zackery Kagle, Tayber LeBeouf, Terry Mike Dennin, Lee Johnson, Adam Johnson and James McGill.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Southeast Texas Hospice at 912 W Cherry St, Orange, TX 77630 or the Disabled American Veterans.

I wish to extend my condolences to the family of B.J.. She will surely be missed for her love and devotion to her family, Southeast Texas Hospice, and to the families of the very ill that she took care of during their time of need. My heart is with all of you. I know how much BJ cared for her children and all her beautiful grandchildren. I have always loved her as my dear friend and wanted her to answer my calls and letters but I knew maybe she couldn't. I just hope all of you kno##imported-begin##Pam Cherry##imported-end##
