Bernard "Jiggs" Pinder, 54, of Vinton, died Tuesday, February 23, 2010, at his home.

A visitation only will be from 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 27, 2010, at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange. Cremation will follow under the direction of Claybar Haven of Rest Crematory.

Jiggs was born January 16, 1956, in Orange, Texas. He was the son of Arthur "Diddy" and Diane Brady Pinder.

He worked as a ship fitter at various ship yards. Jiggs was very proud to work with his father in his cabinet shop.

He is preceded in death by his sister, Toni Pinder Lee.

Jiggs is survived by his wife, Ethel Pinder; parents, Arthur and Diane Pinder; son, Daniel Pinder, of Vinton, Louisiana; daughter; Jennifer Pinder, also of Vinton, Louisiana; numerous grandchildren; brother, Steven Pinder, of Arkansas; and sister, Lisa Pinder, of Crowley, Louisiana.
