Bessie Woodham Hebert

Bessie Woodham Hebert, 86, of Beaumont passed away Sunday, April 26, 2009 at her home.

A graveside service will be Friday, May 1, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

A gathering of family and friends will be Thursday from 4-7 p.m. at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home.

Mrs. Hebert was born August 22, 1922 in Beaumont to Robert Earl and Bessie Teresa Robinson Woodham. She was a graduate from South Park High School and Lamar Jr. College and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Duplicate Club at the Bridge Studio, Sorority Lamar Bridge Club, Women's Club of Beaumont and the Wellness Center.

Mrs. Hebert was preceded in death by her parents; husband, W.A. Hebert III; son, W.A. Hebert IV; grandson, Will Hebert; granddaughter, Tara Knobloch Swanson; sister, Dorothy Sanders and brothers, Bobby and Jack Woodham.

Those left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Sandra Hebert Blankenship and husband Billy; granddaughter, Tiffany Knobloch Keammerer; grandson, Robert Hebert and daughter-in-law, Carolyn Hebert. She is also survived by her great granddaughters, Charlie, Madisyn and Taylor Hebert; great grandson, Trace Swanson and Great Great Granddaughter, Riley.

Her family wishes to thank Dr. Daniel Harmon, Harbor Hospice Scott, Rose and Carolyn, Libby and all of her caretakers.
