Funeral services for Betty Ann Gautreaux, 66, of Lumberton, will be held on Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. in the Claybar Kelley-Watkins Chapel with Reverend Kevin McClusky officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Tuesday, December 1, 2009 from 5-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Betty was born April 2, 1943 in El Paso, Texas to Dewey and Ann Hamilton Jackson and passed away on November 28, 2009 at Christus Hospital-St. Elizabeth. She was a retired secretary with B.I.S.D. and a member of First Baptist Church of Lumberton and former member of Woodland Baptist Church in Beaumont.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Gautreaux; daughter, Debbie Pollak; and sister, Lynn Read.
Betty is survived by her son, Marcus Gautreaux and three grandchildren, Mark and Ashlyne Pollak of Lumberton and Brandon Pollak, who is serving in the US Army and is presently stationed Hawaii.
