Betty Venhaus, 83 of Louisville Boulder County, Colorado, formerly a long time resident of Beaumont, passed away on March 12, 2009. Betty was born to Louis W. and Bessie Jones Taylor on June 26, 1925 in Concord, Louisiana.

Funeral services will take place at Claybar Kelley Watkins Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 17 at 2:30 p.m. The family is inviting friends to visit with them at the funeral home immediately following the service.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Venhaus, Sr. and she is survived by daughters, Karen Connolly, Vivian Finn, Joyce Barela, Berna Murray and Mary Gonzales; son, Robert Venhaus; sisters, Louise and Jo Ann and her dearest and best friend, Wilda.
