Billie Denman

Billie Denman, 81, of Orange and a former resident of North Zulch passed away Tuesday, August 9, 2011, at Magnolia Manor in Groves.

Funeral Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 12, 2011, at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Bridge City. Officiating will be Pastor E. Dale Lee of Cowboy Church of Orange County. A graveside service will follow at 4:00 p.m., at Willowhole Cemetery in North Zulch.

Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home in Bridge City.

Born in Houston on March 23, 1930, Billie was the daughter of Voiage Milton Spears and Johnnie Frances Fry Spears. She was of the Baptist Faith and loved the Lord. She resided at Magnolia Manor Nursing Home and was very much loved. She was always happy, loved to dance and play dominos. However, most of all, she loved her children, grandchildren and all her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Neely ?Jude? Denman; and sisters, Mildred Srkala and Patsy Manley.

Billie is survived by her daughter, Shirley Hebert of Bridge City; son, Wayne Denman of Katy; granddaughters, Lorrie and husband, Claude W. Taylor, Kendra and husband, Jeff Peveto, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Ashlyn Taylor, Brianna Taylor, Trinity Peveto; sisters, Joyce Rudd of Seadrift, Joy Wallin of San Angelo; and brothers, Milton Carl ?Bud? Spears of Houston and Gailon Spears of Cisco.

Serving as pallbearers will be Claude W. Taylor, Jeff Peveto, Bobby Denman, Sam Cole, Leon Williamson and Jerry McMahan.

My sweet Aunt Billie Jean. I remember you as a child and as I was growing older as my sweet Aunt with the sweet southern bell accent. You were always kind to me and funny too.
