Bobbie McClusky

Funeral services for Bobbie McClusky, 78, of Beaumont, will be at 10:00 a.m., Sunday February 24, 2008, in the Charles S. Kelley Memorial Chapel at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home with Reverend Wyatt D. Bradberry of Dawndale Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Her family will receive guests from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.

Bobbie was born August 6, 1929 in Headrick, Oklahoma and passed away February 22, 2008 in Beaumont. She was a registered nurse who enjoyed machine embroidery, reading and visiting with family and friends.

Mrs. McClusky was preceded in death by her mother, Alva Mae Hicks; husbands, Leonard D. "L.D." Byrd and Henry Elton "Mac" McClusky; sister, Billie Taylor and brothers, Floy Lee Hicks, Herb Hicks and Alvis Hicks.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Janice Schonwetter and husband Mark, Sherri Tucker and husband Ray, Cathy Long; son, Ken McClusky and daughter by choice, Susan Williams and husband Jimmy. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Ben Wiedermann, Teri Ramsey and husband James, Chris Tucker, Traci Long, Lee Whitmire and LeAnn Williams; great grandchildren, Leila Ramsey and Madilynn Diedrich; sister-in-law, Shirley Hicks; life long friends, Herman and Mary Catherine Janssen and too many friends to list.

The family extends a special thank you to the Lucas House Assisted Living Facility staff and residents, Harbor Hospice of Beaumont, Home Instead Senior Care and the doctors and staff of the Julie and Ben Rogers Cancer Center for all of your love and care.
