Bobby C. Williams

Funeral services for Bobby C. Williams, 70, of Beaumont, TX, will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. in the Claybar Kelley-Watkins Chapel with Rev. W. C. Hall officiating. Interment will follow at Morse Cemetery in Buna. A gathering of friends and family will be held on Wednesday, July 8, at the funeral home between 6:00 and 8:00 p.m.

Mr. Williams was born in Buna, TX on July 28, 1938 and passed away on July 6, 2009 after an illness.

He graduated from Port Neches-Groves High School in 1956, Lamar University in 1961, and graduated from law school at South Texas College of Law and the University of Houston. After serving in the Attorney General's office for several years, he was appointed Court Master in 1989 and retired from that position in 2004. Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Nora Williams, and four brothers. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Betty Williams of Beaumont; daughter, Susan Hussey and husband, Ed, of Vienna, VA; two grandchildren, Grace Hussey and Matthew Hussey of Vienna, VA; sister, Billie Sue Robinson and husband, Harry, of Richardson, TX; brother, Charles Bond of Kirbyville, and numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.
