Bobby Joe Sackett
Bobby Joe Sackett, 62, of Kirbyville, Texas, passed away on February 13, 2026, at Baptist Hospital in Beaumont.
A graveside service will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at Haven of Rest Cemetery in Beaumont.
Born in Jacinto City, Texas, on January 9, 1964, he was the son of Harrel Lee Sackett and Elaine (Krenning) Sackett. He was a dedicated bricklayer by trade and took great pride in his work. Bobby had a big personality and was charismatic, making him a friend to everyone he met. He was known for his energetic spirit and his ability to connect with people, never meeting a stranger. Bobby had a wealth of talents and interests. He was artistic and skilled at drawing. He also enjoyed tinkering with mechanical things and had a knack for working with leather. In his free time, Bobby loved fishing and took joy in raising chickens. Family was incredibly important to Bobby. He was very loyal, especially to his family, and was affectionately known as "Paw Paw" to all the grandkids. His way of doing things was unique and heartfelt, always leaving a lasting impression on those around him. Bobby was a proud member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Beaumont. Bobby will be remembered for his warmth, his talents, and the love he shared with his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father, Harrell Sackett; and sister, Marie Lynn Sackett.
He is survived by his mother, Elaine Sackett; son, Bobby “Little Bobby” Joe Sackett, Jr.; grandchildren, Andrew “Man”, Anthony “Ron”, Marie Fae “Mokey”, and Madelyn “Alphabet”; sisters, Betty Jo Mulliner and mark Elliot, and Barbara Jo Sackett; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
