Bobby Wayne Hardwick

Bobby Wayne Hardwick, 59, was born October 5, 1952 in Mississippi to George and Charlcye Gray Hardwick and passed away April 6, 2012 in Lufkin, TX. A gathering of family and friends will take place from 6:00 - 8:00 PM, Monday, April 9th at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home. A memorial service will be at 10:00 AM Tuesday, April 10 at the funeral home. Bobby earned his Masters Degree in Education and was a licensed professional counselor. He also was employed as a substitute teacher with the Beaumont Independent School District.

Bobby is survived by his wife, Linda; children, Amy Hardwick Scott and husband, Whitney of Aubrey, TX, Dr. Christy Peterson and husband Dr. David Peterson of Macon, GA, Matthew Harris and wife, Heidi of China, TX, Caleb Harris and wife Elizabeth of Austin, TX, Catherine Kirkwood and husband Justin of Lufkin, TX; 12 grandchildren; his parents; brothers Gary Hardwick of Norman, OK, George Kent Hardwick of Nogales, AZ and his sister, Linda Hardwick, of Houston, TX.

Mr. Hardwick was a gentle spirit. He had special way of talking with our students. I do not ever remember him uttering an unkind word. He valued our students and was always pleasant to be around. He will be missed by all of us at Caldwood.##imported-begin##Karen Kennedy##imported-end##
