Bonnie Jean Combs, 96, of Beaumont was born Dec. 19, 1917 in Memphis, TN and passed away Oct. 13, 2014 at her residence in Calderwoods. She was a passionate servant of the Lord who was committed to mission work throughout her life.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, Oct. 17 from 2-4:00 p.m. at Claybar Funeral Home-Beaumont. Private graveside services will be held in Magnolia Cemetery.
She is survived by three daughters, Carolyn Combs, Katherine Combs, Betty Brink and husband, Ronald; one son, Martin Combs and wife, Pat; 5 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; Judge Melvin Combs; parents, R.D. and Olivia (Fruge) Tatman; and sister, Juanita Mayes.
