Brenda Barron Bryant

Brenda Barron Bryant, 61, of Los Alamos, New Mexico passed away Monday, March 30, 2009.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 4, 2009, at Stark High School Gym on Green Avenue in Orange. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Bridge City.

Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Friday, at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange.

Brenda was born December 9, 1947 in Orange, Texas. She was a High School cheerleader and homecoming queen. She always loved working with children and worked at the Christian School of Kingwood. She then worked as an assistant land man for Goodrich Operating and most recently worked at Los Alamos National Laboratory.

She was preceded in death by her father; Charley Barron.

Those left to cherish her memory are her mother; Catherine Barron, husband; Bill Bryant; Sons; Matthew Barrett, and Eric Bryant; brother; Charles Barron, Jr. sister; Linda Barron Rhalfs, son and daughter-in-law; Paul and Lindsey Bryant, Grandchildren; Courtney, Tyler, and Alyssa Bryant.

Although I hadn't seen Brenda much since high school, her smile was just as radiant at 60 as it was at 16. She made an impression on all who met her. Such a sweet, gentle lady.
