1953 ∼ 2009

Brent Graham

Brent Graham, son of Raymond and Marga Graham, was born on December 24, 1953 in Moses Lake, Washington. A resident of Mauriceville for 13 years, he passed away August 9, 2009.

Brent attended and graduated from PN-G High School. A loyal employee, he worked as a lab technician for Dupont/Lucite over 35 years.

With a passion for adventure, his interests were diverse. Brent enjoyed many years of drag racing. He loved traveling – trekking and scuba diving in which he shared numerous trips to Cozumel, the Yucatan Pennisula and Costa Rica with his wife of 20 years, Lisa. Brent was also a pilot and enjoyed flying his own Piper Cherokee. Having the ability to build or repair anything, Brent stayed busy with various projects in his workshop. He had a special place in his heart for the five rescue dogs he and Lisa shared their lives with. Most importantly, Brent loved his Heavenly Father and was a member of First Baptist Church of Mauriceville.

Preceded in death by his mother, Marga Graham, maternal and paternal grandparents, Truitt Mansfield, Georgia Bradshaw, G.B. and Jewel Graham, and his mother-in-law, Betty Frederick, Brent is survived by his wife, Lisa Frederick Graham of Mauriceville, father and step-mother, Raymond and Sue Graham of Groves, father-in-law, Pete Frederick of Mauriceville, several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and a nephew and his four-legged "children": Jackie Lou, Tora, Blankett, Polar G. Bear and Jellybean.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, August 13, at 6pm at First Baptist Church of Mauriceville with visitation from 4-6pm. Honorary pallbearers are: Neal Craft, Ed Frederick, Mike Gil, Russell Gil, Beau Graham, Brad Graham, Guy Graham, Rex Graham and Gordon Pyles.

Remembrances may be made to First Baptist Church Building Fund at P.O. Box 56, Mauriceville, TX 77626 or to the Best Friends Animal Society at 5001 Angel Canyon Road, Kanab, Utah 84741 www.bestfriends.org

Although I was only a kid when I was around Brent, he was always smiling and friendly to me... he never made me feel like the annoying little cousin. And he had the coolest room ever - the one at the top of the stairs. I wish there were words I could sa##imported-begin##Diana McDonald Golden and family##imported-end##
