Buron Travis Risinger, 86, passed away Monday, March 31, 2008, at his home in Beaumont. A graveside service will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Bridge City on Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. Chaplain Lewis Hawthorne of Harbor Hospice will officiate. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday at the Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home in Beaumont.

Mr. Risinger was born August 17, 1921, in Gary, TX to William Travis and Henrietta Cooper Risinger. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and later worked as a pipe welder.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sons, Kerry Kevin and Stephen Travis Risinger. He is survived by his sons Wayne Risinger and wife Karon of DeQuincy, LA and Terry Keith Risinger of Simi Valley, CA; three grandchildren, and his sister, Geraldine Roberts of Haughton, LA.
