A memorial service for Calvin J. Soileau, 77, of Beaumont, will be held Saturday, Sept. 29, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. in the Claybar Kelley-Watkins Chapel. A resident of Beaumont most of his life, Calvin was born Sept. 15, 1930 in Ville Platte, LA and died September 26, 2007 at his residence in Beaumont. He was a retired pipe fitter with Local 195. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Soileau; four children, Carl Soileau, Judy Ballew, Jan Lopez and Phyllis Murphy; two step-sons, Wayde and Michael Sullivan; two sisters, Lollie Dorries and Priscilla ?Sis? Alameda; four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and five step-grandchildren. Waiting to meet him on the other side are his father and mother, Harvey and Pauline Soileau, four brothers, four sisters and an infant son, Robert Wayne Soileau.
