Calvin Henry Taylor, 89, of Beaumont passed away February 8. 2015. A service celebrating his life will be held, Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Claybar Funeral Home Beaumont. There will be a gathering of family and friends Tuesday from 5:00 – 7:00 pm also at the funeral home.

Mr. Taylor is survived by his wife, Gladys Taylor; son, Wedge Taylor and his wife, Tammy; 4 grandchildren, Mandy Schrader and her husband, Scott, Anna Trahan and her husband, Joseph, Cody Taylor and Noah Taylor; 3 great-grandchildren, Haley Schrader, Cason Schrader and Jude Trahan; 2 step-sons, Wayne Kern and his wife, Brenda and Richard Kern and his wife, Scherry and 4 step-grandchildren, Christopher, Rebecca, Brian and Michael.

Mr. Taylor spent his entire life giving to people. He coached Little League and Babe Ruth League for 27 years in Nederland and was a member of the Shriners and the Masonic Lodge. He was also an 18 year veteran of the U. S. Navy.
