Carolyn Burge, 66, of Lumberton passed away April 22 at her residence with her family surrounding her. She was born September, 1944 to Louie and Virginia Russell in Beaumont. Funeral services will be at 10:00 am on Tuesday, April 26th at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home, officiated by Pastor David Fleetwood. Interment will follow in Loeb Cemetery, Lumberton. The family will receive friends on Monday, April 25th from 5:00 ? 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Carolyn is survived by her husband of 50 years, George ?Bubba? Burge. They had just celebrated their Golden Anniversary on March 31st. She is also survived by her son, Robert L. Burge Sr. and wife, Debbie; daughter, Renee Fox and husband, Roger; sons , Shawn Burge and wife, Natalie and Tim Burge, all of Lumberton and her brothers, Roger, Vernon, Douglas, Gary and Billy Russell. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Louie & Bruce Russell.
