Memorial services for Cassandra Cook, 34, of Channelview will be held Friday, June 22 at 2:00 p.m. in the Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Gary Grantham officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, June 21 from 5-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Cassandra was born December 9, 1972 in Beaumont, Texas and died June 18, 2007 in Liberty County. She had resided in Channelview for the past year and was a former resident of Sour Lake. Cassandra was a graduate of LCM High School in Orange and received her LVN degree from Delta Career Institute in Beaumont. She was employed by Odyssey Healthcare.

She is survived by her husband, Robert E. Cook, Jr. of Orange; mother, Melba Blanck of Beaumont; father, Robert Thibodeaux of Michigan; step-father, Michael Blanck of Orange; daughters, Brianne and Amber Cook of Channelview; brother, Daniel Puente of Arkansas; three sisters, Maria Mercer of Orange, Jennifer Hall of California and Mika Monk of Orange.
