Cassandra "Cassie" Gabrielle Rogers was born July 6, 1982, taken from us on October 24, 2010 at the age of 28.

Funeral Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 30, 2010 at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Chapel. Officiating will be Dr. Stephen Dollar of Pine Forest Baptist Church. Interment will follow a Haven of Rest Cemetery.

A gathering of family and friends will be from 5-8:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.

Cassie, a 2000 graduate of Vidor High School, proceeded to Lamar University and where she graduated in 2008 with a Bachelors degree in Sociology and a minor in Anthropology. Cassie found her calling through her work as a Substance Abuse Counselor, where she touched many lives through her natural ability to help others. She had a true zest for life, blessing others with her infectious laugh and desire for all those around her to enjoy everyday to the fullest.

Cassie is survived by her mother, Penny L. Tindel and stepfather, Rodney Q. Tindel; father, Kenneth J. Rogers and stepmother, Mary Ann Rogers; brothers, Kenneth "K.C." Rogers, Steven P. Rogers, Jonathan E. Rogers and her sister, Lauren N. Rogers. She is also survived by her grandparents, Loryine Ellis, George Rogers and Sylvia Rogers and countless relatives and friends.

Memorial contributions may be made in Cassie's name to CASA of Southeast Texas, 2449 Calder Ave., Beaumont, TX 77702.
