Cecil Van Willey

Cecil Van Willey, 88, of Orange, passed away Tuesday, January 11, 2011 in Houston.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, January 13, 2011 at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.

Mr. Willey was born May 23, 1922 in Pinehurst to Archie O. and Grace Peveto Willey. He served in the Army Air Corps during WWII and later worked at City Works where he retired. He was a member of the VFW, American Legion, First Baptist Church of Orange and the Old Timers Group in Pinehurst.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Bobby Jack Walls; and brother, A.O. Willey.

Those left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife, Reba Willey; sister, Flavia Langley; daughter-in-law, Sharon Walls; one grandson; five granddaughters; five great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
