Celesgin Victor Belanger Sr.

C.V. Belanger Sr., 83, a long-time Beaumont resident, was born in Bay City, TX and passed away March 8, 2012 in Austin, TX. Mr. Belanger served in the US Navy until his honorable medical discharge from rheumatic fever in 1946. He retired after 44 years from Texas Gulf Sulphur Incorporated.

Funeral services will be Sunday, March 11 at 2:00 PM in Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home, officiated by Mr. Tony Williams with interment following at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont. A gathering of friends and family will be on Saturday from 5:00 – 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

C.V. is survived by his wife of 62 years, Ann Belanger; his son, C.V. Belanger Jr. and wife Kay; grandson, Dustin; sister, Flavia Thompson and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Elizabeth and his parents.
