Chanie E. Broussard, 50, of Vidor, died Friday, January 1, 2010, at Christus St. Elizabeth in Beaumont.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 p.m., Monday, January 4, 2010, at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Bridge City.

Cremation is under the direction of Claybar Haven of Rest Crematory in Beaumont.

Chanie was born on February 5, 1959, in Port Arthur. She was the daughter of Richard James Broussard and Joyce Hobbs Lawson.

Chanie is survived by her parents, Richard James Broussard and Joyce Hobbs; daughter, Amber Williams; grandchildren, Kaine, Jakeb, and Emma; sister and brother-in-law, Toni and Joel Kennedy, of Missouri City; and life companion, Lance DeRoche
