Charles David Buchanan Jolly was born in Beaumont, Texas on February 19, 1980 to Gene Jolly and Janice Buchanan. He peacefully passed from this life as St. Luke’s Hospital in Houston, Texas on November 13, 2015.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Tuesday November 24, 2015 at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church with Father Tom Phelan Officiating.

He is survived by his wife, Heather Buchanan of Sour Lake; father, Gene Jolly and wife, Laura of Houston; mother, Janice Ballance of Spring; sisters, Alyssa Jolly, Ashley Dixon, Helen Busby, and Vickie Alexander; brothers, Rob Cole, Bob Jolly, Michael Buchanan, Sr.; grandmother, “Mama” Jeanette Buchanan, and a large extended family.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Earline and E. W. Jolly and James Buchanan, Sr. and his brother, James Buchanan, Jr.

David was a member of St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church in Beaumont, Texas. He enjoyed music, fishing, playing his bass, and driving his truck around with his wife, Heather and their two dogs. He had a sense of humor like no other and was always there to make people laugh. Our loss is Heaven’s gain.
