Charles Pete “Chuck” DeVersa, 61, of Lumberton, passed away on May 17, 2020, at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont.
Born in Beaumont, Texas, on December 4, 1958, Chuck was the son of Sidney and Betty (Brooks) DeVersa. When Chuck was younger, he worked as a boilermaker and enjoyed fishing and hanging out with his friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sidney DeVersa and Betty (Brooks) DeVersa Troth; sister, Brooksie Griffin; stepbrothers, Dale Troth and David Troth.
Chuck is survived by his siblings, Rodney DeVersa and his wife Donna of Kingwood, Cheryl Anger of The Woodlands, Joe DeVersa and his wife Denise of Beaumont, Marianna Vigil and her husband David of Conroe, and Ronnie DeVersa of Beaumont; uncle, Butch House and his wife Candy of Splendora; stepfather, Donald Troth; stepsister, Debbie Wilks; brother-in-law, Scott Griffin of Victoria; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Cremation will be held at Haven of Rest Crematory under the direction of Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home.
The family will have a Celebration of life at a later date.
