Charles Etgen

Memorial services for Charles Etgen, 85, of China will be held Wednesday, December 16, 2009, at 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of China.

Charles was born July 6, 1924 in Dallas, Texas and passed away December 13, 2009 in Beaumont. He was a retired truck driver and U.S. Army veteran of WWII.

He is survived by his wife, Charlene Etgen; three children, three step-children; thirteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren

Dad, just wanted to tell you how very proud I am of you. Got back from your service tonight, and it was really nice. They had alot of good to say about you. I'll always remember my Uncle Charles as being a fun loving, caring man who loved to talk and always had an interesting story to tell. Great fun to be around.
