Chuck Wood, owner of Woodco, Inc., Beaumont, died July 28, 2011. He was a leader in the development of mechanical drying of synthetic rubber and provided sales and technical support as the industry developed throughout the world over the past 48 years.

He was born near Pittsburg, PA and remained loyal to Pittsburg sports all his life. He was a World War II veteran, serving the US Navy prior to attending college in Michigan. He commented often how much he appreciated the love and support of family, friends and business associates that sustained him as he traveled the world, often to new frontiers to American businessmen.

Mr. Wood?s family will gather in Natrona Heights, PA, at a later date for a private memorial service.
