Charles Monroe Honeycutt, born March 26, 1932, in Orange, Texas, died February 13, 2008, at Southeast Texas Medical Center.

Graveside service will be 1:00 p.m. on Monday, February 18, 2008, at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange. Reverend Roosevelt Payne of Harvest Time Baptist Church of Port Arthur will officiate.

Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m. on Monday, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.

Born to Frank and Helen Trahan Honeycutt.

Preceded in death by his parents, son, Mark Honeycutt, sister, Juanita Conley Langton, brother in law, James Decker.

Survived by his wife, Jane Honeycutt; daughters, Jenney Gautreax of Orange, Melissa Payne of Port Arthur, sons, Barry Honeycutt and Stan Honeycutt both of Orange, brother M.W. Honeycutt of Florida, sisters in law, Polly Decker of Houston, Linda Stone of Orange; five grandsons, three granddaughters, one great grandson, one great granddaughter, three step granddaughters, five step great grandchildren. Lifelong member of North Orange Baptist Church. Employed by Hardining & Lawler Lumber Company over 50 Years. Coached Little League Baseball.
