Charlie Brown

Charlie "Buckshot" Brown, 79, passed away Friday, March 13, 2009 at Harbor Hospice.

He was born July 6, 1929 in Lufkin to Dr. Charles and Eunice Brown. He worked and retired from Standard Alloy, was a foreman at the Foundry and worked for 9 years at M&D supply.

He was an all American man who loved fishing and had many fishing buddies, he enjoyed hunting, watching sports and many other outdoor activities.

He is survived by his daughter, Patricia Brown; grandsons, Bubba Daigle and fiancé, Shanna Byrd and Brian Friday and wife, Brandy; great-grandchildren, Tiffany Daigle, Megan Friday and numerous other step-great-grandchildren. He is also survived by many friends whose life was touched by him.

Mr. Brown was a wonderful father and grandfather whose memory will always be remembered and his family will always know that they were blessed to have him.

so many memories with him,but the one that sticks out the most is the last time we went fishin and the first time he let me drive the boat.He seemed so happy with us. --There isnt a day that goes by,that we dont wish we had you back Buckshot.
