Funeral services for Charlie "Bill" Farish, Jr., 87, of Lumberton, TX will be held Saturday, April 4, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in the Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Leon Holly will officiate and Rev. David Goolsby will assist. Interment will follow in Magnolia Cemetery in Dayton, Texas. A gathering of family and friends will be Friday, April 3, between 5:00 and 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Farish was born October 23, 1921 in Black Hawk, MS to Charlie and Mayme Farish and passed away in Beaumont, Texas on April 2, 2009, surrounded by his loving family.

He was preceded in death by three sisters. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Katie Farish; sons, Charlie Farish and wife, Jackie, and Donald Ray Farish; daughters, Sandra Ivey and husband, Tom, and Terri Chelette and husband, Darrel; eleven grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
