Charlotte Ann Baine, 73, of Beaumont fell asleep in the Lord on September 24, 2014 to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and with her family.

Born on April 7, 1941, she was a lifelong resident of Beaumont, Texas where she attended Junker Elementary, Dick Dowling Jr. High and Beaumont High Schools.

As a faithful and active member of St. Michael Orthodox Christian Church, she humbly served over the years in the Choir and in other Parish organizations. “She never knew a stranger” and was loved by all her many friends for her genuine sweetness, kind heartedness and sincere concern for her fellow man.

Born into a family of two brothers and a sister, she is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Dr. Gary and Sharon Baine of Beaumont; sister, Emily Keriotis and husband, Al of California; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Trisagion Prayer Service will be held Friday evening, September 26, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Michael Orthodox Christian Church.

She will be laid to rest next to her mother and father in the St. Michael Orthodox Cemetery. She was also preceded in death by her brother and sister-in-law, Donald J and Beverly Baine. May she rest in peace and her memory be eternal.
