Christine Diane Dartez Lewing, 38, of Port Neches, passed away Friday, November 23, 2007 in Port Neches.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 27, 2007 at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange. Officiating will be Reverend Frank Hodges of Fellowship Baptist Church in Nederland.

A visitation will be held Monday, November 26, 2007 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Christine was born May 30, 1969 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Robert Lester Dartez and Helen Oakley. Christine was a housewife. She also loved and collected angels.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Dartez, sisters, Margaret Lachney, Roberta Hebert, Theresa Gentry, and brother, Robert Dartez, Jr.

Surviving Christine is her husband, Don Lewing, son, Kaleb Lewing, daughter Lacey Lewing both of Port Neches, and her mother, Helen Henry

She is also survived by her brothers and sisters, Julia Martin, Gwen Vice, Pamela Purdon, Tamie Bornette, Lisa Todd, Billy Bergeaux, Maria Janice, Henry Vail and Billy Vail.

Serving as pallbearers will be Gary Lewing, Pat Lewing, Glen Lewing, Michael Todd, Bobby Dartez and Billy Bergeaux.
