Obituary
Christopher Robin Yohe, 40, cherished son, brother of Colin and loyal friend to many, died unexpectedly July 21st.
He was born to Marine parents, Cindy and Robin Yohe February 28, 1986.
Three months later he was on a 42-hour plane ride to Okinawa where he spent the next three years teething on rubbery squid tentacles and having his blonde hair rubbed for good luck…with a concern for pattern baldness.
Christopher followed in his parents Marine Corps legacy serving four years and three tours in Iraq as a Corporal with a Heavy Equipment Team.
With the help of Beaumont’s favorite Barista, Heather Huynh at Starbucks, Christopher received coffee and cup donations to create a camp experience…Complete with a neon logo sign Mom found online. He was very popular.
When Christopher returned to Beaumont he began his career in commercial property operations or how he eloquently described “herding cats”.
Through the years Christopher had two co-workers he called his ‘honorary Marines” because of their work ethic and talents, Howard Winkler and Bill Hart. They remain Yohe Family.
Everyone who knew Christopher will hold their own special memories in their hearts. And Michael Lindsay, Cindy’s husband will have to find another patio drinking “coffee mate”, in the heat or cold, every Saturday and Sunday.
His family has shared a private memorial and sent him to Heaven to be with his Master Gunnery Sergeant Father “Bud”.

Cindy, my heart is with you and your family. I immediately liked Chris as a colleague when I hired him and twice as much as a person. His calm presence was a welcomed one in an otherwise tough industry. I will keep you all in my prayers.

Chris was always someone you could call on if u have a problem. He was always willing to jump in help any older person with a problem. Many times he was there for me. I will always remember his little pranks but mostly those hugs and caring smile and the smile in his eyes. You will greatly be missed. Thank you for all your help and rest in peace.

One of my oldest friends. What started off as teenage jealousy soon turned into one of the best friendships I ever had. Who would think we're literally fist fighting one day and the next day he's asking me to go on a two week trip to Texas to see his mom.( Shows you what kind of person he was). It was never a dull moment when Chris was around and I'm so lucky to have so many great memories with him. He was one of the toughest guys I knew but also one of the most gentle. first one to help. Fishing plans were made not to long ago... trust me we'll have the best trip one day my friend .until then

Our fondest memories of Christopher Robin include his ready smile and warm hugs. When hanging with his younger cousins, he was always the mini-adult ensuring all the youngsters were safe and where they were supposed to be. Christopher shared a sharp wit with his Mom, often offering up a quick one-liner that made so many laugh. One taken too young, who touched many lives. He served his country with honor and pride, and his memory will stay in the hearts of many. Love you, Sister and prayers of peace for the family left behind.

The first time I met Chris was while working. I watched as he quickly handled a problem with the calmest cool I had seen in a long time. Not arrogance—just an assured and humble expertise that told everyone it’ll all be okay. I knew I had to know this guy—so got to know him. I will miss him, and my sympathies to Cindy, Mike, and all his family. I can see his calm face now assuring all of us it’ll be okay. But what a loss—you will be missed, Chris.

Chris will truly be missed. He was our neighbor and truly loved Jeanette. He would come over at times and sit on her lap and hug on her until she would say that is enough Chris u are heavy. Mom and Chris would sit on the front porch and drink coffee and try to solve all problems. She watched him grow into the nice fine man that everyone loved we will always remember you. I knew Chris from childhood and my heart is so broken. And almost 20 years later after seeing him, he even walked me through some hurricane issues after Milton wrecked havoc on my mom’s home. Who offers up advice to someone they haven’t talked with in almost 20 years? Chris. He was always the first one to help, pitch in, go the extra mile. He was amazing and I’m going to miss him.
So very sorry for the loss of your son. Chris is and will always be so special to us.

Oh how my heart is just shattered into pieces. When I look across the street now it just breaks my heart. My family the Staffords and I had the privilege to have known him for years watched him grow up and be his neighbor/ friend for many many years. You were an amazing young man and always put others before you and you love and checked on everyone. You called my mom almost daily just to check in her to see if you could help her or if she needed anything. Chris we will miss you so much. Sender Fi my friend.
